(Notice the women!!!)
"Similar to the anointing a wife/Queen does for her husband/King, with the very oil mentioned in the romantic poetry of the Song of Songs, she comes to Christ as He joins in Passover with others. Whether we are witnessing the potential wife of the Savior perform a sacred and traditional ritual of anointing before He is to become King on the cross, or a committed woman in worship, what is portrayed here is powerful devotion, nonetheless.
May we spare nothing in our gratitude to the Savior. May we walk into rooms full of those that would curse us for our convictions, and proudly break the stoneware, that we may let every drop drizzle over His hallowed head.
As the strong smell of spikenard filled the room, even the good men among Christ found fault in the costly mess of this holy ritual.
In moments, the most dedicated beside you may not understand your conversion or holy callings- but to this, Christ says, “She hath wrought a good work on me,” and what “she hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her.”
I invite you to think about what you can spare for the Lord. Walk with determination, humbly and consistently preparing and dedicating yourself for the Lord."

John 10:10
I am come that they might have life.
II highly, highly recommend reading this talk: Jesus of Nazareth, by Neal A. Maxwell. When I was studying in Jerusalem, I read it daily, if not more. There are many power messages in this address.
John 19:25 ¶ Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene.
26 When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son!
27 Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto [the home.]. My translation
29 Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a sponge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth.
30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost. KJV
SONGS OF LIFE, by Neil Diamond
Songs of life, they ring
From quiet steeples to distant valleys
Along the hillsides of lovers' hearts
Of lovers' hearts
Come sing you songs of life
And they will keep you
From ever wanting, from ever needing
Forever more, forever more
Oh, and when the moment's true
They sing so softly to me and you
You know they do, you know they do
So I sing my songs of life
That I will hold you inside forever
And you will know me
And I'll be yours and you'll be mine
And when the moment's true
They sing so softly to me and you
You know they do, you know they do
And I'll sing my songs of life
That I may hold you inside forever
And you will know me
And I'll be yours and you'll be mine
